PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication malfunction preventing device for preventing a communication invalidating state without performing the reading operation of information stored in a slave device. SOLUTION: A master device 1 is provided with an I2C slave device control part 104 which includes a start condition detection part 107 and a stop condition detection part 108, and which transmits an I2C enable signal to an I2C part 201 of a slave device 2. When detecting start conditions by a start condition detection part 107, the I2C slave device control part 104 enables the I2C enable signal, and when detecting stop conditions by a stop condition detection part 108, the I2C slave device control part 104 disables the I2C enable signal.
