PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce suction pulsation while inhibiting a variable volume fluid machine from getting larger. SOLUTION: A Roots fluid machine 37 is attached to a screw type fluid machine 10 which is a variable volume fluid machine. Teeth 35 of a rotor 33 of the Roots fluid machine 37 has a helical shape and volume of a suction space H2 defined in a pump chamber 311 by the rotor does not vary. Volume of a suction space H1 defined in a pump chamber 231 by screw rotors 21, 22 of the screw type fluid machine 10 varies.
