PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber base material for reinforcement, which is suitable for forming a complicate-formed article. SOLUTION: The fiber base material for reinforcement is a woven fabric using a filament yarn of polyketone fiber containing a unit of formula (1): -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>CO- as≥95 mol% of the total repeating units as the warp and/or weft, and the woven fabric is a Turkey satin woven fabric.
