PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition which is high in biodegradability, is friendly to environments, and has high molding productivity, high toughness and a stable quality. SOLUTION: This polyester resin composition is characterized by comprising 50 to 99 pts.mass of polyhydroxybutyrate and/or a polyhydroxybutyrate copolymer (A), and 50 to 1 pts.mass of a polyester elastomer (B) having polybutylene terephthalate as a hard segment and a polyalkylene ether and/or an aliphatic polyester as a soft segment and having a melting point of 100 to 225°C. In a preferable embodiment, the polyester resin composition uses a polyester elastomer having the aliphatic polyester as the soft segment. The melting point of the polyester elastomer (B) is preferably 100 to 205°C. The melting point of the polyhydroxybutyrate copolymer is preferably 150 to 180°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
