PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional ink-jet head and to print a high quality image stably for a long term at a high speed with high precision. SOLUTION: This ink-jet head comprises a plurality of liquid chambers formed in parallel and nozzles for ejecting ink from the liquid chambers, and ejects the ink by varying the volumes of the liquid chambers. The ink-jet head has a means for generating a magnetic field in the vertical direction with respect to the plurality of liquid chambers formed in parallel, and partition walls each having flexibility and conductivity in parallel to the liquid chambers and partitions the liquid chambers.
