[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] A finder device and an optical device are provided for making it possible to carry out a suitable super imposed display. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A finder device includes a lighting unit for generating illumination light; a scanning unit for scanning the light projected from the lighting unit in two dimensional directions to output display light; and an optical member having a first plane on which picked-up image light passing through an image picking-up optical system is incident, a second plane for reflecting the light incident on the first plane, and a third plane for reflecting the picked-up image light reflected by the second plane, wherein the scanning unit outputs the display light to a plane defined between the second and third planes of the optical member.
