摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to secure safety by performing optical processing such as the adjustment of light intensity of a variable attenuator, an amplifier or the like only for confirming whether an optical communication network can be restored or not even if optical communication is not executed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission apparatus is provided with: a first optical module having a light source for outputting a laser beam; a second optical module having a light source for outputting a laser beam of a wavelength different from that of the first optical module; an optical fiber for inputting the laser beams; an optical coupler for multiplexing the laser beams and inputting the multiplexed laser beam to the optical fiber; and an optical amplifier for collectively processing the laser beams.
