<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information distribution system with an advertisement and a traffic information distribution method with the advertisement, capable of making a user using a car navigation system browse surely advertisement information, and capable of finding accurately whether the user browses actually the advertisement information or not. <P>SOLUTION: This car navigation system 1 displays only the advertisement information when receiving traffic information added with the advertisement information transmitted from an information distribution server 3A in a traffic information distribution center 3, and switches it to the traffic information when the user touches thereafter a portion of a touch panel 14 opposed to an area displaying the advertisement information on a display 13.
