<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform encryption and decryption without interrupting data transfer even in a case where a data size that becomes a unit of data transfer, is different from a data size that becomes a unit of encryption processing. <P>SOLUTION: When a data transfer request packet containing information of a first receivable size indicating a size of receivable data is received from a disk device, a second receivable size that is equal with or larger than the first receivable size and becomes a multiple of an encryption data size, is set and a data transfer request containing the set second receivable size is transmitted to an RAID controller. As a response to the transmitted data transfer request, data of the second receivable size transmitted from the RAID controller are received, the receive data are encrypted for the unit of an encryption data size, and the encrypted data are transmitted to the disk device in the unit of the first receivable size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
