<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for vehicle in which a hardware configuration of a communication apparatus can be made common between different car types. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes an ECU 10, an ECU 20 and a plurality of wire harnesses 30, 31 connecting the ECU 10 and the ECU 20. The ECU transmits a clock signal CLK of a fixed term via the wire harness 30 and the ECU 20 samples transmission data Tx of the ECU 10 via the wire harness 31 synchronously with the clock signal CLK.
