PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor employing a fixing structure of a rear muffler to a rear head, capable of inhibiting distortion of a face surface of the rear muffler. SOLUTION: A bearing part 14a of the rear head 14A is formed with a concavity 14f extending from a side exterior surface toward a crankshaft side. With this, even when biasing force (pressing force) is applied from the rear muffler 17A toward a bearing part 14a side, stress concentration is caused at the concavity 14f formed in the bearing part 14a of the rear head 14A and an area of the concavity 14f is deformed.
