The cleaning device (1) has a conveying path (10), which is provided for conversion in the opposite direction. The conveying path is running from a running zone (5) in curved manner for a runout zone (8). The runout zone extends parallel to the running zone. The vehicles are guided into the running zone after running in a direction and is guided into the runout zone after transferring into a transfer zone (11,11a). An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning of vehicles traveling on rollers in a cleaning device.
