The device has units e.g. lever (4) and spring pack (33), for impressing an adhesive tape (2) on sections of parts (1) e.g. panel. The units are suitable to function independent of each other. The units are mechanically designed and are pivoted. The spring pack is designed as a leaf spring pack, in particular as a layer of multiple leaf springs. A blade (8) is provided for cutting the tape, where the tape is rolled on a guide roller (50). An independent claim is also included for a method for arranging a tape on parts.
