<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized access even if ID information necessary for authentication leaks out. <P>SOLUTION: When a server accesses the image processing device, the image processing device requires transmission of the ID information. The server transmits the ID information. When confirming the ID information of the server, the image processing device transmits dummy data for requiring authentication. When receiving the dummy data, an external device transmits dummy data for response.
