PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work system enabling reduction in size and cost of a work machine for performing work against the ground. SOLUTION: This work system 1 comprises an electric vehicle 10 having an on-board power supply 11 for supplying power to a drive source which drives a vehicle by electric power; and the work machine 20 releasably connected to the on-vehicle power supply 11, operated by receiving the supply of the power from the on-board power supply 11, and performing work against the ground.
