The screw i.e. extruder screw (1) has an axial borehole (2) extending about 50 percentage of a screw length. A profile (3) e.g. double tube or extruded aluminum sheath, is arranged in the borehole, where the profile is made of a thermally conductive material and includes ribs. The profile is twisted to a spiral. Isolation pieces are arranged between the profile pieces. The profile is laid-out as a shrink in the borehole.
