<p>An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for cartage management, optimized for the needs of the individual operator while scalable to handle the largest cartage operation. The system 100 is based on a distributed computing and communications network 102, with an integrated user interface running on a mobile console 104 providing a single point of control for cartage applications 806, and other peripheral devices including a biometric device 106, a navigational device 108, and a printer/scanner 110. The cartage applications 806 are further integrated via a common database 804, and a mechanism whereby information produced by one cartage application 806 may be programmatically consumed by another cartage application 806, thus enabling the cartage applications 806 to operate as a cohesive whole.</p> |
