<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of motor torque while heat generation of an invertor when a motor is in a locked state is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controller conducts supplied power from a power supply source to an armature of the motor 4 through the invertor and controls current flowing to a field coil 4a of the motor 4. When it is decided that a rotor of the motor 4 is in the mechanically restrained locked state, a direction of field current Ifm of the motor 4 is inverted at a prescribed period and an on/off state of switching elements 9a in respective phases of the invertor 9 is switched in synchronizing with inversion of field current Ifm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
