<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric air blower and a vacuum cleaner for enhancing the suction performance under low air volume state. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric air blower having first and second carbon brushes 3a and 3b for supplying power to the winding of an armature 1, and a pair of circuits of field winding (4 and 5, 9) and cooling itself with wind generated from a fan section 2 interlocked with the armature 1, one of the pair of circuits of field winding consists of the series circuit of first and second field windings (5, 6), and a means 6 connected with the other end of the first field winding 5 having one end connected with the first carbon brush 3a and performing switching operation by detecting the temperature of the first field winding 5 is provided. Suction performance is enhanced by connecting the other end of the first field winding 5 directly with the first power supply terminal 8a when the temperature exceeds a predetermined level thereby increasing the input to the electric fan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
