<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device enabling a user to easily specify and execute a desired function. <P>SOLUTION: The peripheral device comprises a transmission means, a receiving means and a function control means. The transmission means transmits, to a terminal, information on a list of resource files which individually indicate resources in their possession, and information on a specific folder which stores the files. When a user selects the resource file specifying the desired function, out of the list and drags and drops it in the specific folder, the terminal transmits a storage command for storing the selected resource file in the specific folder. The receiving means receives the storage command transmitted from the terminal. The function control means executes the function specified by a combination of resources indicated by the resource file stored based on the received storage command. The peripheral device can execute the function desired by the user only by selecting the resource file specifying the desired function out of the list and dragging and dropping it in the specific folder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
