PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving durability for high speed and stability in maneuvering on a dry road surface without reducing wet performance. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire having a tread pattern provided with grooves 2 in the peripheral direction extended along the peripheral direction of the tire on both sides of the equatorial line of the tire and a land part 11 forming an inner side wall face 11b by the grooves 2 in the peripheral direction, the inner side wall face 11b of the land part 11 has an inclination angleθ1 of 20-60°to the normal line NL of a tread face, a plurality of recessed parts 20 having a substantially triangular vertical cross section and extended in the direction of groove at an interval between them are provided on the inner side wall face 11b, and a circumscribing tangential line L1 drawn from an upper side boundary line B1 of the recessed part 20 and the inner side wall face 11b into the recessed part 20 has an angle (inclination onto an inner side is positive angle) of 0-20°to the normal line NL of the tread face.
