PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of rationally utilizing a storage medium. SOLUTION: A digital camera according to the present invention includes: an internal memory for storing an image; an insertion unit capable of inserting a storage medium restricted in rewrite of an image to be stored; a display unit; and a reproduction control unit for reproducing and displaying on the display unit either the stored image in the internal memory or the stored image on the storage medium restricted in rewriting so as to distinguish the images from each other.
