<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which capacity deterioration of the battery is suppressed even in the case the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is charged and discharged under high temperature, which is superior in cycle characteristics under a high temperature environment and has high capacity and safety. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the active material of a positive electrode is composed of an active material A and an active material B mixed, and the active material A is a lithium compound oxide as expressed by Li<SB>x</SB>CoO<SB>2</SB>(0.9≤x≤1.2) and the active material B is a lithium compound oxide as expressed by Li<SB>x</SB>Ni<SB>y</SB>Co<SB>z</SB>M<SB>1-y-z</SB>O<SB>2</SB>(0.9≤x≤1.2, 0.3≤y≤0.9, 0.05≤z≤0.5, 0.01≤1-y-z≤0.3, and M is at least one kind selected from Mg, Ba, Al, Ti, Sr, Ca, V, Fe, Cu, Bi, Y, Zr, Mo, Tc, Ru, Ta, W, and Re). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
