PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a momentary switch which prevents permanent deformation of a metal plate by preventing the pushing face of a button (tact) from sliding on the surface of the metal plate of dome-shape at the time of pushing operation and has an excellent durability. SOLUTION: The momentary switch is provided with a metal plate 1 of dome-shape and a button (tact) 2 which pushing deforms the metal plate 1 by pushing operation to perform a switching operation. Slide-preventing means 3, 4 to prevent position shifting of both by mutually working are provided on the both of the pushing face 21 on the button 2 side and the surface of the metal plate 1 mutually contacting at the time of the pushing operation, and these slide-preventing means 3, 4 are constituted of a concavo-convex rough face formed on the pushing face 21 on the button 2 side and the concavo-convex rough face formed on the surface of the metal plate 1.
