PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by achieving monitoring of fraudulent acts at the time of power shutdown while utility power is not supplied to a game machine. SOLUTION: A game machine is provided with a door open/close detecting sensor 60, a CPU 52 for memorizing open/close information detected by the door open/close detecting sensor to a RAM 53, a backup power source 55 required for activating CPU when utility power is not supplied to the game machine, and a power supply controlling section 50 which, when the utility power is not supplied to the game machine, supplies backup power to CPU for a prescribed time required for CPU to memorize the open/close information to RAM by receiving open/close signal from the door open/close detecting sensor and terminates supply of backup power to CPU when a prescribed time passes.
