PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital video display device capable of screen display suitable for both of video images of normal broadcasting only by interlace signals and video images for which data information is superimposed on the video images. SOLUTION: The digital video display device 10 is provided with: notifying means, that are a unit control part 21 and a superimposing part 23, for notifying whether or not the data information is superimposed on the video images of the normal broadcasting by the interlace signals; and video processing means 30 provided with an IP conversion part 32 for performing three-dimensional IP conversion when the data information is superimposed and performing IP conversion using only the signals of a present field when the data information is not superimposed on the basis of information from the notifying means.
