A method and a device for the production of splittable fibres and their use

The method for the production of splicable fibers by a melt spinning process under using two polymer components incompatible with one another, comprises connecting distributor bores (6) to a spinning capillary (4) in the polymer components and adjusting the cross-sectional areas of the distributor bores arranged to the respective polymer component dependent on the volumetric flow rate of the respective polymer component, so that the ratio of the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the distributor bores corresponds to the volumetric flow ratio of the used components among one another. The method for the production of splicable fibers by a melt spinning process under using two polymer components incompatible with one another, comprises connecting distributor bores (6) to a spinning capillary (4) in the polymer components and adjusting the cross-sectional areas of the distributor bores arranged to the respective polymer component dependent on the volumetric flow rate of the respective polymer component, so that the ratio of the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the distributor bores corresponds to the volumetric flow ratio of the used components among one another or is equal with a deviation of = 10%. The volumetric flow ratio is less than 1. A portion of 3 wt.% is deployed as minimum portion of the polymer components. The distributor bores are arranged in circular, star-shaped and/or in a row manner. The polymer components are individually arranged alternating or block-by-block alternating to the respective distributor bores with one another. The respective distributor bores are arranged in equally large blocks. The polymer components having small weight portion are deployed as polymer components with a low melting temperature and are deployed for the production of splicable fibers or filaments as adhesive- or binding components. The cross-sectional areas of the respective distributor bores are varied by exchange and/or additive of construction units. Independent claims are included for: (1) splicable fibers produced by a melt spinning process under using two polymer components incompatible with one another; and (2) device for the production of splicable fibers by a melt spinning process under using two polymer components incompatible with one another.
