<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally change an audio channel of audio data when material data are transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 of a video server 101 takes material data specified by a sending-out request out of a material memory 17 once a request receiving unit 13 receives the sending-out request for the material data. An audio channel converter 16 reads output channel information out of an additional information recording area of the taken-out material data and converts audio data included in the material data into audio data of an audio channel specified with the output channel information by the control of the CPU 11.
