<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake throttle valve for a compressor, having reduced vibration and noises resulting from intake pulsation while maintaining performance over all flow amount range. <P>SOLUTION: The intake throttle valve 37 for adjusting the opening of an intake passage 36 comprises a first valve element 43 arranged movable when receiving intake pressure Ps, and a second valve element 47 arranged movable when receiving crank chamber pressure Pc. A coil spring 49 is provided in a valve chamber 48 between the first valve element 43 and the second valve element 47, and an escape passage 51 is provided for communicating the valve chamber 48 with an intake chamber 29. The escape passage 51 is variably opened with the movement of the second valve element 47 so that it is in a fully opened condition during maximum displacement operation and in a reduced condition during variable displacement operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
