PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold clamping device capable of easily adjusting the gap between an electromagnet and an attraction plate. SOLUTION: The mold clamping device has an electromagnet holding member for holding the electromagnet and an attraction member opposite the electromagnet holding member attracted by the electromagnet and transmitting the attraction force of the electromagnet as a mold clamping force between a fixed mold and a movable mold. A gap is formed between at least either of the electromagnet holding member and the attraction member, and a member coming into contact with either of the members by a first bolt which adjusts the distance between the members for constituting the mold clamping device.
