PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box for a battery saving resources. SOLUTION: The packaging box 10 is composed of: a cover main body 14 with a cover plate part making indispensable side surface cover plate parts 11 and 12 for the front and back respectively covering side surfaces in the front and back and a top surface cover plate part 13 covering the top surface, but making dispensable a cover plate part covering the right and left side surfaces and a cover plate part covering the bottom surface of a battery for the battery Bat with six exterior surfaces which are the right and left side surfaces faced in a longitudinal direction, the front and back side surfaces faced in the orthogonal direction of the right and left side surfaces, a top surface, and a bottom surface; and a binding band 15 provided to fix the side surface cover plate part 11 and 12 to the battery.
