PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxymethylene copolymer having a mechanical strength and rigidity comparable to those of oxymethylene homopolymer and having excellent thermal stability. SOLUTION: The oxymethylene copolymer composition is produced by the copolymerization of trioxane and 1,3-dioxolane using a cationic active catalyst by adding (a) 0.01-0.5 pt.wt. of an antioxidation agent for a sterically hindered phenol, (b)≥0.01 pt.wt. and <0.1 pt.wt. of a base stabilizer for an amino-substituted triazine and (c)≤0.03 pt.wt. of a metal-containing compound to 100 pts.wt. of a crude polymer obtained by using 1.1-2.9 mol% of 1,3-dioxolane based on trioxane, and stabilizing the product.
