PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator warning device not requiring periodical visual confirmation by a maintenance engineer and certainly exchanging a part requiring exchange. SOLUTION: The elevator warning device is provided with a corrosion gas concentration measurement unit 6 arranged in a hoistway of the elevator and measuring the corrosion gas concentration; a control device 4 having a data memory device 11 memorizing durable hours corresponding to a corrosion gas concentration level in every part constituting the elevator and the date of exchange when the exchange is performed most recently and an operation device 10 to output information for promoting exchange of the parts when a passing time from the exchange date to the present time exceeds the durable hours; and a display device 8 for informing of reminding of exchange according to the information for promoting the exchange.
