PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple and quick treatment of sewage generated by removal of floor wax. SOLUTION: A treatment method for the sewage generated by removal of floor wax adds an aqueous solution having a hydrogen ion exponent pH of≤5.5 to the sewage to separate solids dissolved in it. The sewage generated by removal of floor wax is poured onto the aqueous solution having a hydrogen ion exponent pH of≤5.5, or the aqueous solution is poured onto the sewage all at one or several times, thereby separating the dissolved solids from the sewage. The treatment method is employed to treat the sewage generated by removal of floor wax with the aqueous solution having a hydrogen ion exponent pH of≤5.5, and then a liquid part from which the dissolved solids have been separated is neutralized with a carbonate using foaming phenomenon disappearing as an indicator of completion of the neutralization.
