PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely changeover between a normal operation mode and a silent operation mode corresponding to the situations at different times. SOLUTION: A dishwasher includes the normal operation mode and the silent operation mode for performing operation so as to be silent compared to the time of the normal operation mode, and when there is the input of changeover while executing one of the normal operation mode and the silent operation mode, the dishwasher is switched to the other operation mode and execution is performed.
