PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables the consumption of games in a shorter time with a simple playing rule by the automatic decision of a necessary number of cards in hand on the side of the game machine while meeting restrictions in regulation. SOLUTION: The combination game machine is provided with a game board where ball entry ports are arrayed corresponding to figures of cards of many kinds, a means which selects candidate figures of a prescribed number M of cards as candidate figures of cards in hand at the start of a game, a means which determines the number N of cards with the candidate figures as cards in hand less in number out of the number M of cards with the candidate selected figures, a means which operates to discard the cards with unused figures from the cards in hand with the figures and a means which operates to draw the cards with the figures corresponding to the ball entry ports which game balls enter out of a prescribed number of those shot into the game board after the card discarding operation. The means for deciding the figures of the cards in hand determines the number N of candidate figure data stored in the specified region of an area where the candidate figure data of a memory device are stored as the figures of the number N of cards in hand.
