The present invention comprises an illumination unit for applying illumination light to the recording medium after recording on a recording medium and a camera unit for picking up an image recorded on the recording medium to which the illumination light is applied by the illumination unit and outputting detected information. The present invention outputs reference detection information obtained by detecting a reference recording image by the camera unit after recording the reference recording data on the recording medium as input recording data, generates correction information by comparing the reference detection information with the reference recording data and generates corrected input recording data obtained by correcting the input recording data on the basis of the correction information, and also detects poor recording on the comparison result between the input recording image information and the corrected input recording data after recording the input recording data on the recording medium.
