<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of restraining melting of a positive electrode active material into a nonaqueous electrolyte even though the positive electrode active material is charged to become at a high electrical potential and having superior battery characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material capable of reversibly occluding and releasing a lithium ion, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, the positive electrode active material has a fluorine substituted hydrocarbon group on its surface, and the nonaqueous electrolyte includes a high coordination solvent adding a fluorine contained compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
