<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery electrode which has a low internal resistance of a battery, an excellent discharging property (a voltage utilization ratio at high rate discharging) and is causing no over-charging while charging and hardly gets a damage on a plated film due to expansion and compression of the electrode accompanying charging/discharging and has an excellent cycle property. <P>SOLUTION: The battery electrode board is composed of a resin nonwoven fabric on the fiber surface of which a nickel containing metal is coated, and a fineness of the fiber is 2.2 to 6.7dTex, and a film thickness of the coated metal is 2 to 12 μm.
