PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable jumping to a desired scene cut by transmitting a command once from a terminal to a media server during reproduction of a media stream.

SOLUTION: An information delivery system includes: a media database 1009 which stores media data; a sequence information database 1008 which stores reproduction information necessary for reproducing the media data; a terminal 1000 having a function of adding a scene identifier for specifying a present reproduction time and a reproduction scene with respect to a media operation request for delivery of media data; a scene searcher 1005 which acquires the media operation request, verifies the reproduction information based on the acquired media operation request and reads out the media data via a media data storage means from an arbitrary reproduction start position based on the result of verification; and an output unit 1006 which delivers the read media data to the terminal 1000.
