<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting material processor, suppressing reproduction failure by automatically determining the quality of a memory content in a destination device after copying a material. <P>SOLUTION: In an image recording and reproducing apparatus 12, image material data recorded on a semiconductor memory 121 is automatically reproduced and decoded to an original image material signal, and the quality of recorded contents of the semiconductor memory 121 is determined using the image material signal. When abnormality is detected in a memory block of the semiconductor memory 121, a retry request is transmitted to an image recording and reproducing apparatus 11 of an active system, and image material data reproduced from the apparatus 11 is recorded in a different memory block of the semiconductor memory 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
