<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the requirements of a user for specifying a switch for " inputting " the function after executing scroll selection. <P>SOLUTION: This tilting touch control panel has a position sensing element 60 having a sensing surface and a position interface circuit. The position interface circuit determines a position of an object on the sensing surface when the object 100 acts on the sensing surface of the position sensing element. At least one pressure sensitive element 54 and the sensing surface of the position sensing element are arranged so that displacement of the sensing surface to the pressure sensitive element can be detected by the pressure sensitive element by pressure applied from the object. The position interface circuit specifies an user indicating signal by mutually associating a position of the object on the sensing surface to detection pressure. A predetermined position for expressing a virtual button is set on the sensing surface. The position interface circuit specifies the user indicating signal by associating the position of the object existing in its predetermined position to the detection pressure, by determining whether or not the object exists in the predetermined position on the sensing surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
