PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing device incorporated in a measuring/dispensing apparatus which housing device enables easy and quick replacement of an insertion unit, is of a compact structure, and does not respond to the accumulation of an undesired material. SOLUTION: The housing device 120 exerts a function of housing the insertable insertion unit 110. The housing device 120 includes a plurality of support arms 121', 121'', 121''', and 121'''' which are arranged in parallel to each other and extend in the longitudinal direction almost perpendicular to the gravitational direction. At least two of the support arms 121' to 121'''' are disposed in planes that are arranged on the upside and the underside with respect to the gravitational direction. Each of the support arms 121', 121'', 121''', and 121'''' includes at least one support position 123, at which the insertion unit 110 is supported against the gravitational force when the measuring/dispensing apparatus 100 is in an operating state. Each of the support arms 121', 121'', 121''', and 121'''' has at least one protrusion 122 that functions to locate the insertion unit 110 in a plane extending perpendicular to the gravitational direction.
