PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with re-drawing to thereby reduce time and memory consumption by generating and outputting image data with specific resolution from image data for a screen which has been already drawn, when this data broadcast output apparatus having a high definition screen performs output to a peripheral device adapted only to the specific resolution. SOLUTION: The data broadcast output apparatus, for display on the screen, performs drawing with resolution different from the one determined by specifications according to resolution of the screen (S203, S204, S205), and when the output is performed to the peripheral device such as a printer, the data broadcast output apparatus performs thinning of dots, etc. (S208) from the image data (S207) drawn for screen display to perform output by setting resolution to which a peripheral device adapted (S209).
