PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion device capable of detecting a modulation amount of probe light modulated by a THz electromagnetic wave without suppressing a phase bias of the probe light and without saturating a circuit. SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device is provided with a photodiode 1, a phtodiode 1' in which cathode terminal is connected to that of the photodiode 1, a capacitor 3 for charge storage inserted between the photodiode 1 and a photodiode 1', a capacitor 3' for charge storage inserted between the capacitor 3 for charge storage and the photodiode 1', and a differential amplifier circuit 6, wherein one input terminal is connected between the photodiode 1 and the capacitor 3 for charge storage, and the other input terminal is connected between the photodiode 1' and the capacitor 3' for charge storage.
