PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case mounting structure and a shield case fitting method that precisely mount a shield case on a substrate by providing the shield case with a soldering part for positioning and soldering, and providing the substrate with a recessed part corresponding to the soldering part. SOLUTION: Soldering parts 42a and 42b projecting from the shield case 41 containing an electronic component provided on the printed board 1 inside and a recessed part 2 for shield case soldering which is a hole part with a metal pattern 3 storing a part to be joined to solder 4 of the soldering parts 42a and 42b on the printed board 1 are soldered and joined so that solder-joined portions of the soldering parts 42a and 42b corresponding to the recessed part 2 for shield case soldering are stored in the recessed part 2 for shield case soldering.
