PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and precisely determining moisture in paste. SOLUTION: In a quartz tube provided in an electric furnace, paste is heated, in an inert gas flow, at a temperature near the boiling point of the resin component constituting the paste and the resin component, and the moisture in the paste are volatilized. The resin component and the moisture are put out from the quartz tube by accompaniment of the inert gas, and while the resin component and the moisture put out are collected in the flask, the resin component is refluxed in the flask at a temperature of 100°C or higher and the boiling point of the resin component or lower, and the moisture is put out by accompaniment of the inert gas to the outside of the flask. The moisture put out is absorbed by dehydration solvent, the moisture obtained in the dehydration solvent is titrated using Karl Fischer reagent titration solution, and then water content in the paste is determined from the value obtained.
