PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody biomass fuel heating device adjusting heating power, and having improved capability of preventing generation of carbon monoxide. SOLUTION: The woody biomass heating device 1 has: a lower part container 3 having a combustion chamber 2 burning woody biomass fuel; a noncombustible cotton like member 4 provided on an inner face of the lower part container 3; an upper part container 5 provided above the lower part container 3; a ventilation pipe 6 provided from a lower part of the lower part container 3 to the upper part container 5; a fan 7 for sending air from the lower part of the lower part container 5 to the upper part container 3; an air intake 8 supplying the air from the upper part to the lower part container 3; an exhaust port 9 discharging the air from the upper part container 5; and a catalyst 10 provided in the upper part container 5.
