PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide dispersion hardened Pt material, PtRh material or PtAu material in which Pt is economized without deteriorating the quality of a dispersedly hardened platinum material, and having a high oxide ratio and satisfactory ductility. SOLUTION: The material comprises: 95 to 99 mass% of noble metal components consisting of platinum or a platinum alloy containing at least 55 mass% Pt, 0 to 30 mass% Rh, 0 to 15 mass% Au and 0 to 40 mass% Pd; and 1 mass% of a dispersion hardening agent selected from the group consisting of Ce, Zr, Sc and Y at least to 90 mass%.
