PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for a pipe conveyor capable of ensuring long life and confirming the worn state of the inside, and to provide a pipe conveyor using this casing. SOLUTION: In the pipe conveyor 10, a conveying chain 12 is movably provided inside of the casing 11 for the pipe conveyor, and a pressing member 13 for conveying an article to be conveyed is mounted to the conveying chain 12. Further, a casing body 14 of the casing 11 for the pipe conveyor is a cylindrical one having an upper part opened along a longitudinal direction. Further, on a contact surface with at least a pressing member 13 inside thereof, a lining member 15 is removably and partially-exchangeably provided along a longitudinal direction.
